This walnut two seater sofa added a touch of luxury to the formal environment of an executive office. Often the back of a sofa isn't visible, but given this piece was to be placed in the middle of a room, it needed to look just as good from behind.

The scalloped rails were shaped using a traditional spokeshave, while the bridal joint was cut by hand. The cushions were upholstered in sustainable nettle fabric.
